2011 ALL-STAR WEEKEND
During the 2011 All-Star Weekend, the Magic Johnson Foundation hosted more than 3,000 guests, celebrities, athletes, corporate executives, tastemakers/influencers, and leaders in philanthropy.
Series of events kicked off with the Magic Mixer presented by Wells Fargo Powered by Verizon and hosted by Earvin "Magic" Johnson at WP 24 by Wolfgang Puck at the Ritz Carlton in Downtown Los Angeles. Guests enjoyed unparalleled networking as DJ Biz Markie provided the ultimate music experience. Verizon Ambassadors showcased a new 4G Network product, Herradura Tequila Ambassadors featured new cocktails and Best Buy provided power stations for smartphone devices.

The E.R.A.S.E (Empowering and Reinforcing Awareness of Students through Education) HIV Youth Summit in collaboration with the Magic Johnson Foundation and Black Entertainment Television's (BET) Rap-It-Up Campaign took place at Centennial High School in Compton, CA to promote and increase HIV/AIDS Awareness and dialogue among high school students.

The event series culminated with the Exclusive Nordstrom Experience hosted by Mrs. Cookie Johnson. The private event included the latest fashion collections, live auction and entertainment provided by DJ Biz Markie and multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning artist Faith Evans. To highlight the work of philanthropists Bernadette Lewieke and Debra Lee, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BET Holdings, Mrs. Cookie Johnson presented themwith a humanitarian award.
